This does not mean paired rings cannot be used. It means the input set needs stronger structure and the result should be reviewed before it is published.

Prepare the pair as a controlled product set

Use one consistent arrangement, stable lighting, and a clean background. If the two rings are sold as a set, keep their relationship fixed across every source image.
